Most people head to Corolla with one thing on their mind, the beach! Beyond the surf and sand, there are many other fun and exciting things to do on the northern Outer Banks. While Getaway Place sits only 300 yards from the beach access, we're also close to many other ventures, including the Timbuck II & Monteray Plaza shopping centers (which has a grocery store). Don't forget to visit the Currituck Lighthouse and the Whalehead Club while you're here! (Just minutes away!) If you venture up north in your 4x4 vehicle, maybe you'll be lucky enough to see one of Corolla's wild horses!
